Tim
Tim is Lombards Stereo's sales manager in our San Luis Obispo location. Tim has over 10 years of experience in the car audio industry. This Ventura native has recently been transplanted to San Luis Obispo to join our team. His previous experience has been at a well-known retailer in Ventura and over 6 years working for a major car audio manufacturer in Oxnard. This unique blend of retailer and manufacturer experience allows Tim better serve our customers. Tim considers himself a "Jack of All Trades" being able to not only present all of our product lines to our customers, but also able to install most audio systems. Tim got into the industry because stereos were his hobby as a teenager and it turned into a career.
Dan
Dan is a seasoned installation veteran of the car audio industry. He has over 24 years of installation experience of all things 12 volt. Dan got into the car audio industry by "screwing around with" his "parents car" to get good sound. As a Central Coast native, Dan has worked at several car audio retailers in the Morro Bay/SLO area, including 10 years for Lombards. Dan specializes in custom fabrication of audio and video systems using detailed woodworking and fiberglass molding. He can install any system you are looking to get in your car, boat, RV, or motorcycle at our San Luis Obispo location.
Gabe
Gabriel has been working in various automotive industries for over 17 years. Before moving to the Central Coast several years ago, he worked in complete body restoration of classic/custom cars in the Central Valley for over 10 years. He has been with Lombards Stereo in San Luis Obispo as an audio and video installer now for over 3 years. Gabe specializes in metal and fiberglass fabrication in addition to all vehicle wiring. His hobby away from work is in home audio and home audio repair. Gabe loves the laid back Central Coast lifestyle and the ability to "play with toys" all day.
Angel
Angel is Lombards Stereo's wholesale manager. He visits local car dealers to assist them in purchasing after market audio, video, and other accessories to be installed into cars on their lots. Angel also works out of our San Luis Obispo store as a salesperson. Angel has worked at Lombards for "8.75 years". He also can install equipment into vehicles as well. Prior to Lombards, Angel worked at Sears and at a local car dealer. He is a CalPoly alumni with a degree in mental health therapy and a resident of SLO town for over 10 years. Angel enjoys pool, disc golf, bowling, golf, darts, and shooting guns.
Santa Maria team members
Juan
Juan is the Sales Manager for both the Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo locations. For the last 6 years, he has been responsible for ensuring that our customers get the attention they deserve. Juan started getting involved with car audio by installing audio systems in friends' cars before he was even legal to drive. Great sounding audio systems were his passion before it became a career. He has a great "ear" for clean clear sound, so much so that he has judged several car audio sound competitions. Juan has been working in the industry for over 12 years, choosing to stay on the retail side of car audio to continue to enjoy the best car audio has to offer. He also has an obsession with home audio and home theater. Juan can help you plan out your next audio or video system, and make it sound great.
Robbie
Robbie is the Installation Manager for Lombards Stereo. Robbie got into the car audio industry when he got tired of other stores doing shotty installs in his own cars. At that point, he decided to take matters into his own hands and learn how to install this stuff for himself. Robbie has installing professionally for over 15 years. Additionally, Robbie has been a judge at multiple SQL competitions, where his "ear" for great, clean sound has been utilized. His strengths are tuning audio systems for maximum clarity, system setup, and intergration of existing stock systems with aftermarket equipment. After all these years, Robbie still likes figuring out how to integrate various equipment to maximize your audio system.
David
David is Lombards Stereos General Manager. David began his journey into audio world at a young age in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He approached this from being a DJ as a well as working on his own and his friends' vehicles install head units, speakers, amplifiers, and subwoofers. David has been in the audio industry for decades. He has worked at several car stereo retailers both on the East Coast and in California. David knows how to install all the equipment, but also can help you with choosing the right equipment for your vehicle and what you are aiming to get out of it. He has been with Lombards for nearly 7 years, helping customers get to the most out of their audio systems, whether in a car, boat, RV or motorcycle.
Chris (AKA Craig)
Chris is another one of our highly experienced installers. This Ventura County resident makes the long journey to work at our Santa Maria store part time. Chris has been a vehicle audio and video installer for over a decade, working at several Ventura stores prior to coming to Lombards. Chris got into the car audio industry through his love of music. Chris's favorite parts of installations are wiring of cars and replacing head units and amplifiers to make the cars sound great.
